Hello!

Submissions are open from February 1, 2018 to November 1, 2018.

There are no themes to constrain you. Let your imagination run free. Be sure to read the submission guidelines and submit your best work. If your work has been published online, please wait six months to submit again.

Submit no more than two options (total, not per category), preferably in the same document. Accepted work is published online on a rolling basis. Selected work will appear in print. We publish three print volumes each year. Check out Dime Show Review on Amazon or better yet, order from your local bookstore.

**If you discover that you've made a typo or an error, simply email submissions@dimeshowreview.com rather than withdraw. Minor things can be corrected easily if your work is accepted.

If you're doing everything right and Submittable will not accept your submission, that could mean that our submission limit has been reached. Simply try again at the beginning of the next month.

Thank you,

Dime Show Review

This is place to submit your Ten Word Story (limit 2 in a six month period). If possible, type your ten word story on a typewriter and send us a photo of it. If you don't have a typewriter, that's OK, please submit anyway (but you're missing out on the fun!)

If you're submitting a document please use one of the following file extensions:
  • .jpg, .png, .tiff, .gif, .doc, .docx
**A note about ten word stories. What's a story, anyway? Most of the time, a story has a beginning, middle and an end. If nothing else, a story has a pivot point, a hinge to turn the reader's point of view. Otherwise, your ten words may simply be a beautifully written phrase. A pivot point is KEY success criteria.
